Our Story
Hidden Acres Dog Resort and Training Center was established by Lucas and Chelsea Powell, who are passionate about dogs and wanted to create a safe and enjoyable environment for them to stay, play, and train. Lucas, a second-generation dog handler, has been training police dogs for over 10 years. He became a certified dog trainer in 2014 and has had the privilege of training multipurpose police dogs and domestic pets ever since. As a family, we adore our pets and consider them a part of our family. Having a business that enables us to share our passion with the community is truly a dream come true.
What Can I Expect?
A country setting and safe surroundings assure your pet's safety at Hidden Acres Dog Resort, nestled in the back of a country estate. Upon arrival, you'll follow a long driveway to the luxurious, secluded suite building. Once you enter the building, you'll be greeted by an associate who will verify the details of your stay and complete your pet's check-in process. With daily activities such as indoor and outdoor play, staff engagement, group play, enrichment activities, and positive social interactions, so your pets feel safe and comfortable at their home away from home.
